Some people like to look formal and be comfortable also...good for indoors Thailand.
Its all nice to look at painted feet at this late hour, although i prefer the unpainted stuff later on this week.
Try to solve this mathematical illusion that was proposed by my calculus teach ages ago (so i dont remember the solution, sorry)
- 3 guys go out to lunch.
- They carry 100 Baht each.
- They eat & drink.
- The bill to the waiter is (check-bin) = 300 Baht.
- They say "okay so we lay down 100 each". Jolly good. Waiter happy. (3 x 100 = 300, all well)
- The waiter says: "solly, I make a mistake, you pay only 250 Baht" (yes, these honest-mistakes-following-exclamations actually happen)
- Waiter puts back 50 Baht (300 - 50 = 250, all well) - five 10-Baht coins.
- The 3 guys decide to take back 30 Baht - each guy gets a 10-Baht coin back. Easy devide.
- 20 Baht remains as 'tip' for the waiter (and his honesty) - two 10-Baht coins. No sweat.
So... each guy got 10 Baht back from 100 Baht they gave in the first place. So they really spent 90 Baht.
3 guys spent 90 Baht... so then... 3 x 90 = 270.......... BUT they left 20 Baht as 'tip'
270 (spent) + 20 (tip) = 290 (!!!!!!!!!!) ... not '300' - as they actually payed in the beginning of this story...
Where the hell did that 10 Baht go????
