Table Tops Optical Illusion

Posted Image

It’s hard to imagine these two tables have exactly the same shape of their tops. You don’t believe it? Simply print this image, cut the first top with your scissors, and then place it above other table’s top and you’ll see they align perfectly. Trust me, I have done it and will post the prrof soon.

Impossible Wooden Object

Posted Image

I can guarantee you that the picture below wasn’t manipulated with, and that the object you see can truly exist in real life. Only question that jumps out, is how? It may take you some time before you understand the logic behind this “impossible” wooden object. Does it have something to do with special materials? Or is the secret in angle under which the photo has been shot?

As you see, this gif file looks 3D/Stereo even without wearing those red and blue glasses that you get in some stereo-vision cinemas.

Silhouette In The Dark

This one will test the balance between your right and left brain or if a male then right or left testicle B). It’s amazing how our brain first presumes it’s seeing a silhouette of a young, fine and sexy looking girl. Actually it isn’t even a girl we are seeing here....So what is it?

Nicely carved woodwork, not so impossible at all when u look at it. M.C. Escher does this better (in drawings). Study following one and you'll go nuts: http://veritasdomain...fall-medium.jpg

Carved woodwork???...How can a dwg be better than the real thing??....it's a bit like saying..."Im young, hot and sexy" in chat and when you see the real thing you :o :o :( :( and run like Forrest Gump. B)

If you look closely at the top wooden block, you will notice the shade or colour of grain is lighter at the far end, hence making the illusion of the 2 blocks sitting side by side.. The screws also fool your brain. The pic is definately 2 blocks of wood with one block sitting on the other. :)

There are only 4 possibilities... front, middle, last or all the same size ;)

What came first?...the chicken, egg or hole?

This is a DOUBLE illusion. Look at the top picture, it has 8 eggs. If you print and cut the top (A) shape out, then cut into pieces following the blacklines and re-arrange the pieces as per the bottom (B) shape.

Now we have the same size shape (length x width) but only 7 eggs (illusion 1)!!! We also have a hole in the center where the egg should be (illusion 2)!!! = double illusion. So where did the missing surface area go to?

How can this be if the overall size of both shapes (length x width) is the same ??????????????....is it really MAGIC??

Your job is to explain both the illusions :)

Just in case you would like to know the answers
Missing egg....if you look closely, the eggs on the B pic are bigger than the A pic. Re-arranging the pieces at the bottom make the eggs bigger.

Missing piece or area...you have to look very closely between the A & B pic. You will notice the bottom edge of A pic has very slight concave curve and the bottom edge of B pic has a convex curve....this is where the missing area is now located.

Here is a gif file featuring Steve Irwin (ex famous Aussie croc hunter). :(

The gif animation has ONLY 2 layers...and changes from one to the other every 10 seconds or so.

1st layer is a black and white picture
2nd layer is a semi colour negative of the same picture.

The cool thing (illusion) is if you look at the dot in the center of pic (colour negative) the next time the black and white comes up it will be in colour. If you close your eyes and open quickly the pic will return to black and white.

Well it seems our 'T' is not into communication, coz i really can't make any chocolate of the above picture (that's allright tho, it's the reason why i - in general - will always have plenty of work ;) )

Below some explanation visualized (it still needs some work...), and that's not coz i have no life, but coz it's interesting stuff that our company will actually use in a management training module that handles 'hopes, perceptions and expectations'. Guess who designs training materials B) . Thx 'T')

Do you see curved lines or dead people?

The white lines are in fact vertical and parallel to eachother....the black shading makes them look bent or curved.

PS...you are not alone if you see dead people

PS: It appears I qualify for this magic also. couple of weeks ago, I was walking on sidewalk, motorbike taxi ran me down, end result 8 days in
Pattaya Memoril Hospital, operation for broken ankle. Now the magic comes, taxi man says I jumped under his motorbike and wants 2500
baht to replace a fairing to to clean all the blood off his piece of chit motorbike........sba

I broke 3 bananas off a bunch of 10-or-so at a local grocery store the other day and got scoffed off by the lady in charge to not do such without her consent. She was very upset there for that moment. She was right coz she held up a knife that was far more efficiently capable of separating the 3 bananas from that bunch and/or cut off my balls.

PS. U shud post more often here. People miss you.
