What interesting attractions can I find in Bangkok?
I am a teen visiting Bangkok with a baby brother and our parents. What interesting things can we see and do there? We all like science centres, zoos and other such places, including amusement parks also.
Please also provide a list of good shopping places.

Visit safari world, Dream world, siam park. For shopping, if u r staying in pratunam area, Pratunam market,Indra market, panthip Plaza and Pratunam plaza. Visit Bobae market and Bobae tower for clothes.

try this page for the interesting zoos. It can be very hot during daytime, so please dont forget to provide enough water for your little brother. If you are interested in shopping, you can probably go to Siam Paragon, then you can go to the underwater world, which is in the same building. Have a nice trip!!

pantip plaza is good if you like electronics, pc’s. wii, dvd etc. its all copies and non genuine but if you like that sort of thing….
if you buy anything on the market at patpong never pay more than 25% of original asking price. politely bargain. just say nignoy when he asks you how much think….
i work there 3 times a year. a ruksak for example that is 600baht is only about 180 at local markets…..
use the skytrain rather tthan taxis. it is no cheaper really but so much quicker and you cant get ripped off. if you do use taxi make sure they have the meter on. even more so after midnight. many refuse to use meter.
san lam night market is good. has live bands, great food and market stalls by the thousand.
it would be worth getting a trip organised to the old capital city ayutthya (probably spelt wrong) you can go on elephant trips there. It is about 60km north of Bangkok. Most hotels can arrange it for you.
There is a rollercoaster park nr Bangkok but it is not good…uk ones are som much better

Safari World is very interesting for 1 day trip, you can drive car to see all animals in the zoo such lion, tiger, deer more and more… Many shows in safari world such as dolphin show, bird show etc. http://safariworld.com/

For shopping place, I would highly recommended you to go Chatuchak Market (JJ Market), the biggest weekend market in Thailand, lots of things, cheap & can negotiate.
Shopping Mall, on Rama 1 Rd, many Huge shopping mall, you can walk from one to another. MBK, Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam Square, Central World. A Lot, one day is not enough to shopping here.
